Dallas Winners

A few of my customers entered quilts in the Dallas Quilt Show this past weekend and received ribbons, yay! Congratulations to Ramona Griffin, Diane LeClair and Connie Hanson on their awards!!!

There were so many pretty quilts on display this weekend and here are some more pictures of others that caught my eye!

This quilt is SUPER impressive! At first glance, you see all that fabulous color and wonderful quilting, but when you read the description card, (which I failed to get a really good picture of), you then find out all that quilting is done by HAND!!! AWESOME on a whole new level!!!

Funny Story!!!
This is the label on the very first custom quilting I attempted. It is on a quilt that belongs to my long time friend and obviously I did not enjoy the process then! However, I didn’t give up on it and even though my style has changed significantly since my first attempt, I’m glad I kept going and didn’t let the little bumps in the road deter me from pursuing my dream!
